The boy will do up his shoe lace and the priest will be standing like a statue at the stain glass window. the boy will look around as he stands up and the priest will disappeared the boy will walk towards the door and put his head down to do up his coat and the priest will be closer behind him. Then the boy will bring his head up mouth some sort of prayer before he leaves. the priest will move his head so the audience can see half of his face he will then lift his bloody hand onto the boys shoulder

Plot of idea

Storyline

A young adult walks towards a church, through the graveyard. The church door is already half open which draws the boy into the church. He shuts the door behind him gently. Slowly a figure walks behind him and the boy turns around quickly. The boy walks up to a pew to take a seat. He puts his head down to pray. The priest is sat 4 seats behind. The boy puts his head and back down… the priest is now 2 seats behind. The boy puts his head down and back up and nothing is there anymore. Then goes to walk out…  He puts his coat on as he walks out, he puts his head done to put his zip up at this point the priest is right at the back of the church looking at the boy. The boy sees his shoe lace untied. He sighs. At this point the priest disappears. The boy then goes down to do his shoe lace.  The boy hears foot steps behind him and he turns around then the priest runs in front of him. As he stands we see the confused facial expression he makes. At this point the priest is directly behind him but cannot be seen until the priests head moves and his hand goes over the boys shoulder. End of opening.

At the very start of the opening, we are given a slient few seconds giving us information, informing us on what we are about to see. The silence in this shot builds tensions for us because we have no idea what's going to happen. The simple white on black gives us a kind of space feeling, given from the title 'Gravity'.

As soon as the writing finishes, we get a shock of sound that suddenly starts when the action starts happening. From the calm white writing, going to a straight shot to a catastrophic accident in space. Which, again, tells us why the title is 'Gravity' because all we see is an awful shuttle accident with a woman swinging around in space and not being able to do anything because of the no gravity atmosphere. Which automatically brings the audience to wanting more.

As the clip gets through, we see it gets even worse, building tension for it's audience when the woman is unclipped from the shuttle. Also giving us an establishing shot of the Earth, telling us how far away she is from home resulting in suspense building up for it's audience.

 

We are then zoomed into a close up of her face showing the distress she is in. We can also see the black from the background showing that she has no where else to go and she literally is going to the middle of no where. The sound in the shot gives us an intense feeling of suspense with the sharp violins playing in the background as she flies into deep space.
